Barbara Henderson is a highly-requested motivational speaker and award-winning educator. She is the CEO and founder of Inspiring Moments and R8:28 Ministries, which provide educational seminars, empowerment workshops, and self-esteem forums. Barbara is committed to helping individuals discover their worth, overcome life’s obstacles, and reach their full potential.

Barbara works with individuals from diverse backgrounds to address relevant issues in a variety of settings. She draws from her personal experience as a college coach and victor over low self-esteem to help others develop a strong game plan for winning in life. Her tailored messages transform negative thoughts into affirmative perceptions that lead to healthy choices.

Barbara presents a number of interactive workshops designed to foster a positive self-image in girls and women. She holds these workshops at businesses, schools, women’s retreats, and youth camps. She has hosted the "Little Miss Fabulous" Self-esteem Workshop for girls in grades 1-5 since 2008 and the "Be Beautiful, Be YOU" Self-esteem Workshop for girls in grades 6-8 and 9-12 since 2005. Barbara is also a certified facilitator of the DOVE Real Beauty Workshops for girls and women.

Barbara holds a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University where she attended as a student athlete. She continues to educate and motivate through sports as a Coach for Hoops 4 Life Basketball Program, which she founded in 2004. Barbara speaks throughout the U.S. and overseas. She resides in Houston, Texas.
